Week 24 Spotlight: Love and marriage.
A one-year wedding anniversary is considered the “paper anniversary.” And if Brian Murphy had his way that paper would be a note telling his wife that they can meet up to celebrate year one after the football game.
You see, while Brian should be happy his wife is willing to celebrate the couple’s first anniversary at a professional sporting event he finds himself making a difficult decision – keep her happy and attend the game with her in the nosebleeds or blow her off and take photos on the sideline. This kind of stuff was never discussed in premarital counseling.
