Week 30 Spotlight: A tale of two cities.

On the surface, it might not seem like San Antonio, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts have a lot in common, but they definitely share one common trait – the ability to overreact to minor situations.

It seems San Antonio completely shut down recently because it was cold, leaving Brian Murphy trapped in Texas with nothing to do, which is never a good idea. Meanwhile, Boston was sent into a panic over light boxes featuring cartoon characters, leaving Joel Murphy highly amused.

Can Brian really control the weather? Did someone really call a press conference to discuss 1970s hairdos? What would a modern rendition of the Super Bowl Shuffle sound like? Find out the answers to these questions and more on this week’s show.

    Hey guys…
(My screen froze and I lost my msg so hope this isn’t posted twice)
Love the show but noticed you hadn’t got much love from listeners here lately do thought I’d say hi.
Have to tell you the sound was a bit screwy this week, but I guess when you’re long distance the tech thing is a bit harder.
Have been following the hoax bomb thing and have to agree that your cops might not be up to the mark – imagine if a real threat had come while they were chasing down these guys?
Anyhoo, keep it up and coming.
    Cheers
    Ciderrr Gal.

Loved the show guys. It’s one of the few podcasts I listen to that make me snort laughter. What happened to Meredith’s vagina quote at the beginning?

I’ve been talking about the Boston “bomb scare” on G’Day World this week. How fucking dumb are these people? And I just totally loved the “70s hair” press conference. That just beats everything. Those guys are instead gods.

Keep up the great work! Joel, hope you had a great birthday, fuck what Brian says. Look at it this way – it Buddy, Bopper and Richie hadn’t died, we wouldn’t have Don McLean and THEN where would we be?

For the birthday wars segment, I was born on October 10. DAVID LEE ROTH’s birthday. Beat that Michael Bolton boy.
